COVID-19 Safety Information

TO minimize the spread of COVID-19 and adhere to the state’s guidelines for Farmers Markets, please follow these safety practices:

Pre-order with our vendors as much as possible! They each have their contact information on a facebook page or on our website. Some are able to take online orders, some would like you to call, email or text! All will have your order packaged and ready for pickup each Saturday.

  • Order and pay online if possible
  • Order by phone and pay at pickup
  • Pay with card if possible, or have exact change
  • Follow the signs for parking, or for traffic direction through the market!

For those who cannot pre-order, or if you order from one vendor but decide to buy from another, you will still be able to shop on-site, provided everyone adheres to the PPE and social distancing guidelines as well as:

  • Do not come to the market if you are sick!
  • Please wear a mask. This is mostly to prevent you from spreading any illness if you happen to be carrying it without symptoms
  • Stay 6 feet from other customers and from vendors/staff
  • Wash your hands - there will be a hand-washing station at the entrance and exit of the market
  • Please only have one person from your family enter the market
  • Please avoid more than one customer at a time with each vendor
  • Do not congregate or socialize in groups. Do not stop to eat on the market lot. All food is meant to be to-go.

Vendors will not have ALL products on their table. They will have ONE visual sample of each product available. The product itself will be pre-packaged or stored away from public access.

  • Do not touch the display
  • Ask for the product/s you would like to purchase. The vendor will hand you a bag. You may add this to your own reuse-able/washable shopping bags, but please do not re-use plastic or paper grocery bags.
  • If you are using a card for payment, the vendor will ask you to swipe it yourself
  • If using cash, please try to use exact change. Most vendors may round prices to the nearest dollar. The vendor may ask you to drop the money into a container for no-touch handling

We appreciate your support and hope that you can find the essential foods you need. We understand that this is not the ideal shopping situation, but in order to stay open we must comply. We also understand that many items are not available through normal grocery outlets. Please check with our vendors in advance if you need something specific!

Some of our vendors are not able to participate given the current restrictions, but will be back in June or July. We will post weekly who will be in attendance and what they will have!
